President Trump kicked a Somali-sized hornet’s nest recently when he spoke bluntly about how he really feels about the wave of refugees who’ve poured in.

The left’s reaction to those comments is exactly what you’d expect… loud, dramatic, and wildly over the top. The way they’re painting these “gifted” and “amazing” Somali refugees, you’d think America never accomplished a single thing before Minnesota imported thousands of people from a third-world crapshole.

Celebs, media, politicians, and blue-checks have turned into Somali hype-men, breathlessly insisting that Somali refugees are the greatest thing since sliced bread and penicillin.

Local news stations are claiming Somalis have a “rich history” and they integrated into US society. However, the cover photo Local Fox 9 used for that story doesn’t suggest much “blending” into American culture, does it?

Take a look:

Author John Pavlovitz made it clear; he’d rather live next door to Somalis than an American who supports President Trump.

Many people suggested he invite some fellas over to his elite, white community for a BBQ.

Meanwhile, this “handsome” local news reporter was nearly brought to tears over President Trump’s comments on Somali refugees.

Let’s not forget the time Governor Tim Walz swapped out the Minnesota state flag for the Somali flag. This happened not long before we discovered Somalis stole 1 billion dollars from hardworking US taxpayers.

And speaking of Somali fraud and Tim Walz, take a look at this timeline. There have been 28 scandals since Mr. Walz was elected.

2016: Feeding Scam founded as a Somali nonprofit sponsoring child nutrition.
Initial federal funding is modest, rising to $3.4 million by 2019.

2018: Fox 9 exposes ~$100 million in child care fraud, with suitcases of cash flown to Somalia, funding terrorists.
Autism claims begin to rise at $3 million with 41 providers, Somali providers complete fraud loop.
Somali perpetrators deploy accusations of racism and Islamophobia to stall investigations again.

2019: Tim Walz elected governor in November 2018, takes office in January 2019.
Over 28 fraud scandals uncovered so far during his tenure.
Feeding Scam receives $3.4 million.
Autism Fraud rises to $54 million.
Ilhan Omar, elected to Congress in 2018, relies on the Somali vote as a key factor in Democratic wins.

2020: COVID 19 waivers enable unchecked program expansion.
Housing Scam launches with a $2.6 million annual estimate but pays out $21 million.
Feeding Scam explodes to nearly $200 million via fake claims.
Autism fraud grows to $77 million.
Officials flag issues, but Somali racism lawsuits delay any action.

2021: Housing Scam payouts hit $42 million.
Autism Fraud $183 million.
Feeding Fraud peaks at nearly $200 million.
Money is diverted to luxury vehicles and real estate in Kenya, Turkey, and the U.S.

2022: Housing Scam $74 million.
Autism Fraud $279 million. Autism providers surge to 328, many are Somali, closing the fraud loop with stacked schemes.
DOJ indicts 47 initially in Feeding Scam~$250 million, 77 charged overall.
Ilhan Omar only returns $7,400 in donations from implicated donors.

2023: Housing Scam $104 million.
Autism Fraud $399 million.
Remittances to Somalia $1.7 billion.
AG charges 18 Somalis in a $9.5 million Medicaid fraud case.

2024: Ongoing indictments, including 3 Somalis in an $11 million Medicaid fraud.
Autism center raids by FBI, multiple providers suspended.
Feeding Scam Trial, 5 Somalis indicted for jury tampering, stalked a juror with GPS monitoring on her car and left $120K on her doorstep in exchange for a not guilty vote.

2025: HSS: $61 million in first half, program terminated August 1, 77 providers cut for fraud.
September 18, 8 indicted in HSS 6 Somali, plus 56th guilty plea in Feeding Scam.
September 24: First autism indictment for $14 million scheme.

Total scandals: 28+ since Walz’s election.
Billions stolen and millions funneled abroad to Al-Shabaab and others.

Yet celebs like Ben Stiller keep insisting these refugees have “built” the nation. Meanwhile, Stiller, sitting on roughly $200 million, hasn’t opened his mansion to a single Somali refugee.

However, truth be told, Ben and his family are probably much safer that way. This article from 2011, talks about how Minneapolis Somali gangs traffic young girls.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The girl was 12 when the gangsters told her the rule: They would sell her for sex to men outside the gang, but members of the Somali Outlaws or the Somali Mafia would use her for free.

For more than two years she was taken on “missions” to abandoned garages, men’s bathrooms, apartments and hotels, enduring hours with multiple men so gang members could get money, pot or booze. Though her mother confronted two of the men twice early on and warned them the girl wasn’t even 13, they continued to prostitute her.

But according to some Somalis, Americans are just “haters” who can’t handle how “successful” they are or how nice their cars are.

So, if the Somali refugees are as amazing and gifted as the left says they are, it makes you wonder how America has thrived for this long without them, right?

That’s what Stephen Miller pondered when he joined Jesse Watters recently. He joked that it’s a miracle this country survived 250 years without nonstop guidance from Minneapolis’s refugee community.

Meanwhile, as all this unfolds, a Somali Minneapolis councilman has decided it’s “racist” to even mention the Somali community when discussing fraud. Keep in mind, this is the same guy whose wife ran a nonprofit that was shut down for… yep, you guessed it… fraud.

Dustin Grage:

Minneapolis City Councilman Jamal Osman thinks it’s racist to mention the Somali community when talking about the fraud.

What he forgets is that he pushed to keep Feeding Our Future’s payments going, calling it racist to cut them off.

His wife’s nonprofit had to be shut down in civil court for being a fraudulent shell company, and a dormant nonprofit they founded together was signed over to two individuals who immediately went on to commit $13M in food fraud.

You can’t make this stuff up.

This whole debate boils down to something very simple. The Somali refugee community in Minnesota has a lot of explaining to do. We’re talking about documented fraud rings, documented gang activity, documented violent crime, and a documented pattern of people arriving here, tapping into America’s resources, and giving nothing back.

So when celebrities and Dem politicians insist that this community is “enriching” our lives, it’s fair to stop and ask how. Where do US taxpayers see the upside? Where do American neighborhoods see the benefit?

If the Somali community wants to be seen as some great asset, someone on their side needs to step up, take responsibility, and start answering for the mess that has been created in Minnesota. Until then, the rest of the country is under no obligation to pretend everything is fine.
